Each consulation is one hour and a half hours (90 minutes). I always run over, but you’re only charged for the 90 minutes. Call me crazy, but I offer this because I truly want bean to bar makers to forge a successful path, in whichever direction they want to go.

I offer consults on a first-come basis, with only a few slots open per year. In 2025 a one-on-one consult is included in the Bean to Bar ChocolateCraft Workshop, so my spaces are very limited.

I’ve been consulting since 2016, and have helped makers worldwide, of every size and experience level, on a wide range of chocolate topics.

Areas I’ve helped makers improve and succeed with:

  • Nailing down a particular step of the process that has been a stumbling block

  • Choosing origins and matching origins to products

  • Adding plant-based white and/or milk chocolate products

  • Understanding the science behind roasting,

  • Scaling to and choosing a bigger roaster

  • Kitchen layout and productivity goals

  • Packaging design and branding

  • Creating unique-to-them inclusion bars and a signature product line
